The Jamison is a charming cabin that features a queen sized antique iron bed and a log bunk bed in the sleeping area. The bunk bed consists of a double on the bottom and twin on top. The kitchen has a hard wood floor, hickory cabinets, polished wood table top and for modern convenience it is equipped with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, and small sink. We have also provided pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. The bathroom has a stone floor with a walk in shower.
The Pioneer trail goes right through the Jamison ranch and the wagon ruts are still there. The Jamison's were early settlers in frontier Wyoming. Along the Bear River, near the foothills of the Uinta Mountains, this cabin was built to serve as a bunkhouse for ranch hands. It had a pot-belly stove for heat. We added a ranch style porch for your enjoyment. Inside is the real thing, furnished Mormon pioneer style with antiques and artifacts of the period.
